August 2011.
Confession time.
Here's the list of projects to start and complete, and not including gardening, reading, sport/fitness. This is purely craftiness!
In no particular order:
- Sew clothing set for my niece. Bought the material in September 2010, prior to me having a proper sewing machine
- As above, for my girlfriends two daughters
- Sew tracksuit pants, the material for which was cut out in June 2010, also prior to having a proper sewing machine
- Carve a name stamp for each of my boys. In fact, I have done one for my nephew already, and I think it's cute, so I'd like to do some for myself!
- Sew those corduroy overalls that I cut the material out for sometime in March um.... 2010.... I don't think they'll fit either boy now! (Again, material purchased and cut prior to having a proper sewing machine. What was I thinking??)
- Sew two backpacks for daycare. Have chosen the material and ordered from the U.S. - it's a shame for local retailers, but the Internet does make international purchasing so much easier, especially with this exchange rate
- Craft another one, or two, or three, book purses. I have all the materials, My first attempt worked OK, now I just need to do a new and improved version!
- Sew a couple of brolly sheets for the single beds
- Sew the wet bag for my cloth nappies when we're out. I mean, I've made 3 for other people, why haven't I done my own???
Sew present for friend's baby shower. She reads this so I can't say more. But I really need to post it in time.Completed in September 2011 with time to spare :-) Here's what I made for her: a onsie and a softie doll - plus my sister made a nappy wallet especially for her too.- Finish my second set of felt faces (think Mr Potato head). The first set I gifted to daycare. But that's another blog post.
- Re-crochet that blasted woolly newsboy beanie
- There is more. I'm just not admitting to any more right now. ;-)
